WHERE: Meet us at Northwest corner of 7th St. and Jefferson Dr. SW, Washington DC 20565. From there, we will proceed as a group along the march route to the rally at Freedom Plaza.
HOW TO FIND US: We will be wearing blue “team humanist” shirts and holding signs.
WHEN: AHA will be at the meeting spot from 8:45 to 9:15 AM, Saturday, September 29, 2018. The day’s schedule is as follows:
- 8:30 AM – Drum circle on the Mall
- 9:00 AM – Kick off rally (with speakers) on the Mall
- 10:00 AM – March from the Mall to Freedom Plaza
- 11:00 AM – Events at Freedom Plaza
ACCESSIBILITY: The march from the Mall to Freedom Plaza is less than a mile and will include accessibility points for people using wheelchairs. Chairs will be available at the rally for those who need them.
