Welcome to WES the new SEEK Assistant

As you all know, our Sunday School/SEEK program has grown to the point that we need to hire an assistant. WES is thrilled to announce that there was an outstanding pool of candidates and that we have hired Ndara Miles for the position. With her wisdom and skill set I hope we can make it our best programming year ever in Sunday School! Please welcome Ndara to WES staff. She will begin on September 1st.
Warmly,
Melissa Sinclair
Director of Lifelong Learning, WES
Here’s a note from Ndara:

Hello Washington Ethical Society,

My name is Ndara and I am excited to take on my new role as SEEK assistant here at WES.
I have been helping out here at WES for the past 4 years in the nursery room.  I currently work as an Assistant Program Director of an early learning program in Bethesda, where I have worked for the past 11 years and gained most of my early childhood experience as a preschool teacher.  I am a native Washingtonian and obtained my Bachelor’s in Political Science here in Washington, DC at Trinity University.

Additionally, I have obtained both an M.Ed. in Early Childhood Education and Special Education at Northcentral University where I am currently enrolled in the doctoral program for Early Childhood Education.

In this new role I am hoping to learn more about WES and the messages it shares through its programming.  Additionally, I hope to become great resource of information and experience to WES overtime.
I am looking forward to getting to know all of you and your children this fall through fun and meaningful learning experiences!
