Winter Festival — Be a Part of the Celebration

Hard to believe but it’s time to start preparing the annual Winter Festival. This seasonal celebration brings together the entire community to honor the winter season while also preparing for the spring to come. It take a village of volunteers to bring back the light. Do you act, sing, dance? Have you ever wanted to but were holding back? Answering “yes” to either makes you a perfect candidate. The cast needs energetic volunteers from 1st grade on up to bring our multi-generational story to life. The stage show is only part of the magic. We need creativity of every flavor–sets, costumes, transforming our building into a winter wonderland, and much much more. The entire community is “in” Winter Festival. All you have to do is choose where to share your energy. Please email Marty Kaufman (martindkaufman@gmail.com) to talk further or volunteer.
Future cast members should plan to attend a read-through on Sunday, October 8 in the Main Hall at 1pm. Rehearsals will be on Sundays, starting on October 8 from 1-3pm and on Tuesdays, starting on October 10 in the evenings. Tuesday night rehearsals will never start before 6pm and never end after 8:30pm. Winter Festival will have two performances on Sunday, December 10 with a bit more rehearsal in the week prior to the shows.
