Join the WES/Global Connections’ 2023 delegation to El Rodeo, our sister community in El Salvador. Each annual delegation involves cross-cultural and social justice work, exploring lush, green hills, and getting to know the amazing people of El Rodeo.
The Global Connections team has led delegations to El Rodeo since 2010. Our delegations have evolved from community meetings prioritizing needs (i.e., access to potable water, scholarships, and employment) to programs such as establishing a “Little Library” and running an annual dental clinic. El Rodeo’s solar-powered water system is complete! Every home has access to clean, running water. Their new priority is to build a community center.
During the upcoming delegation, from June 21 – July 3, delegates will have the opportunity to support the annual dental clinic, attend community meetings, meet with village members to learn about the community’s history, and other great activities. Slots are still available but space is limited. Teens are especially encouraged to apply and all are welcome!
