She is our SEEK assistant and is working on coordinating online gatherings for our children and teens, family pick-ups of Soulful Home packets, and more!

We invite our High Schoolers to join our Teen Group. We have either Real World Discussions (RWD), a roundtable discussion of contemporary ethical topics and Teen Group (our youth group) activities. The RWD topics are picked by students, who may research and present them during the session. Examples of topics discussed include: Police Brutality, Pipeline to Prison, Self-Driving Cars and the Plight of Refugees. The WES Teen Group holds a monthly waffle bar to fundraise for outings such as ice skating, bowling, and movies, as well as sponsoring services like Parent’s Night Out.

“Field Trips”

The Teen Group went to the Adventure Park at Sandy Springs! They were able to spend 4 hours working as a team and as individuals working through the different ropes courses. See some photos below!
