Artist Quilt and Statement

Abundance means having plenty of something, feeling no shortage of….

        It can also mean noticing what you have and being content with it, of realizing that it’s enough. Noticing all that we have rather than focusing on what we don’t have, being grateful for all that we have, for our lives as they are.

         Noticing the abundance around you in ordinary things, noticing all the abundance in nature, plants, sunrises and sunsets, the seasons —- Leaves In the fall, flowers in the spring and summer, bare forms in the winter which become more visible.

         I decided to celebrate the abundance in nature, in ordinary things——

the grasses or reeds growing by a pond. Abundance is all around us if we take the time to look for and notice it.
