WES Neighborhood Potlucks Happening

Every WES member is in a “neighborhood” and has an opportunity at least twice a year to meet with others (and their guests, and prospective members) in their area to get better acquainted on an informal basis. Members should have received an emailed invitation using the Perfect Potluck website tool to learn about and sign up for your local potluck, or an email with other information. MOST potlucks are scheduled to happen at 5:30 this coming Sunday, October 20.

Here is the latest:

Neighborhood #1 (DC and northern VA) – Shelagh Bocoum is coordinating, with Heather Prichard to host on Sunday.

Neighborhood #2 (Silver Spring north & east of the Beltway) – Judy and Randy Myers to host. DUE TO SHORT NOTICE FOR THIS AREA, THE POTLUCK MAY BE MOVED TO NOVEMBER 10. You will be advised of any change if you live in this neighborhood.

Neighborhood #3 (Takoma Park and nearby area) – DATE IS NOVEMBER 10 due to the schedule of the hosts, Hugh & Maureen Taft-Morales. Since Takoma missed having a potluck last spring, we appreciate Hugh & Maureen stepping up to host.

Neighborhood #4 (Silver Spring inside the Beltway) – Judith Johnson is coordinating. Currently, this area is planning to meet on Sunday, NOVEMBER 10.

Neighborhood # 5 (Montgomery Co. west) – Mary and Richard Smith are hosting this Sunday.

Please sign up through the Perfect Potluck website so the hosts and other attendees know who is coming and what you are bringing. We sure wouldn’t want to have only desserts, would we?  If you have accessibility issues or are curious about pets or children in the host’s home, this information should be part of the Perfect Potluck notice. If you need a ride to get to the location, please contact either the hosts or the overall Potluck Coordinator Cindy White (crwhite712@gmail.com).

Have a great time!
