As you know, WES has been planning to welcome a clergy intern this fall, to be with us for two years, half-time. Earlier this summer, the intern we were hoping to have join us decided that she needed to take a break from studies and wasn’t ready to move forward with an internship. In a stroke of great fortune, we were able to connect with another seminarian who was looking for an internship! We are delighted to introduce Zeb Green. Zeb will join us in early September, and be introduced to the congregation on Sunday, September 11 at our Celebration Sunday.
Here’s a note from Zeb:
Dear Washington Ethical Society,
My name is Zeb Green; I’m finishing my Masters of Divinity degree from Starr King School for the Ministry. I’m originally from Charleston, SC. I’ve been a member of the Secular Humanists of the Lowcountry in SC and attended a number of UU Congregations throughout the country. Before finding my way to seminary, I was working in theatre administration. Since starting seminary, I have been involved in interfaith organizing, including a community organizer internship at Faith Alliance for Climate Solutions in Northern Virginia. I’m looking forward to learning and growing with you all over the next two years.
I Wish You All the Best,
Zeb Green
